Mariam Claren, whose mother Nahid Taghavi is held hostage in #Iran, will speak at the #GenevaSummit2022

Nahid is a German citizen waiting for her government to speak up for her. Iran also holds another German citizen hostage: Jamshid Sharmahd, who is facing a fake trial, made up to sentence him to death.

I'd love to see the @Bundespresseamt say their names - in whatever statement any German official finally dares to make.

One #German citizen, Jamshid Sharmad, facing a sham trial in #Iran, and ultimately, execution. Another one, Nahid Taghavi, was dealt a 10 year sentence, also after a sham trial. #AnnalenaBaerbock, you are expected to take initiative. Don't become the next German Foreign Minister who just watches German citizens wither in Iranian prisons.
