Using about 43w/h at the moment with the tumble dryer on and powered by V2L from the car.

Probably won't save us much as 5pm-6pm is a low usage time for us anyway, but it all helps keep the fossil fuel power generation from firing up.

Hmmm I haven’t noticed a #SavingSessions this week, did I miss one?

On the last #OctopusEnergy #SavingSessions we managed to save £32.29! (8 OctoPoints to the penny?). I did that by charging our #batteries earlier in the day and force discharging during the session. There will be more savings as #AgileExport was high at that point and we exported.
In total we've saved £45.05 on the #SavingSessions.
I am aware that I can only make those larger savings as we had the funds to invest in batteries, but there are still savings to be made if you can time your usage.

It’s the #SavingSessions 2 hour challenge! Managed to get tea ready for the kids with 5 mins to go so we’re sat at the dinner table with fake candles & battery operated fairy lights 😀

They seem to love these sessions so it’ll be interesting to see if they still do after 2hrs!

Right, we have a plan for the #SavingSessions - I’m making tea slightly early so it’s definitely done before 5pm. Hubbie is off to IKEA after work & will reheat his tea after 7pm. Kids can do TTRS app on kindle fires for homework & youngest is off to Beavers anyway.

Just need to remind Hubbie to switch off all the automations for the fairy lights for two hours! We have rather a lot up inside & outside at the moment.

Assume this is the next block of 4 which will be 2 hour, then a block of 4 at 3 hour then the last 4 x 4 hours. Wonder where the participant drop off will be? Reckon the 3 hours ones. Bet that’s part of the experiment too, to work out how far volunteers will go #SavingSessions

Two hour #SavingSessions tomorrow night! This is gonna take some planning!

Think I can guarantee that the next #SavingSessions will be Wednesday night - as my parents are coming for tea!

We managed to only use 0.04kwh in today's #SavingSessions - will be interesting to see the resulting % drop and Octo points.
I really need to work out how to bring the V2L to inside without opening a window for load shifting (we can't drill holes in the walls).
