11. A #TTRPG you love but really needs a new edition

I would like to say the #ScarredLands
Yeah, it's more a setting than an RPG, I know. But it's the setting I discovered D&D with. And there's some stuff in this setting I'm still "in love" with.

The setting got revamped for DD5, but, well...

What I would like is to see micro-games for this setting. Each dedicated to tiny bit I really liked about it. All making a great mash-up (oops, that was yesterday...)

Anyway, just a wish

Ran the last #CastlesAndCrusades #ScarredLands game until the new year.

The PCs did rather well, and have nearly cleared out the Mountain Door level of the Forge of Fury module.

Their party is showing some wear and tear, however, and they still haven’t located the item they are looking for, so are going to have to delve deeper.

Scarred Races was my first publication for the Scarred Lands setting. In it, creatures from 3rd Edition were updated for 5E to be playable as characters, and I introduced the akesheth, an entirely new species! Along with new feats and spells, it's quite an addition for your #DnD5E game! 🤩

@TrialsOfBren I’m currently running a #CastlesAndCrusades game set in the #ScarredLands campaign setting.

I don’t really have a name for it, but I kinda refer to it in my head as “Juggling The Tightrope,” mainly because I have a casual gamer, a narrative gamer, and an old school sandbox gamer who is returning to the hobby after a couple of decades, in the group.

Balancing freedom for one and storylines for another is quite a fun challenge.

#ScarredLands game yesterday. Discord had a few audio problems but seemed to settle. PCs saved a farmstead from banditry, I got to dangle a few long term plot hooks about the place, and they found the hidden entrance to the Forge of Fury.

Also got to introduce some of the unique monsters of Scarn to the players, when they came across Flesh Stripper spoor. 👍
