I truly wish that the entirety of the folks in uproar, glued to the byte-stream of information pouring into the ether regarding the vote for #speakerofthehouse would put this much effort into paying attention to the arguably more important political matters like:

- #PoliceViolence
- #VotingRights
- #HateCrimes (which are optionally reported)
- #LocalElections
- #Education and #SchoolBoardElections

We get fixated, quite literally, on the things we can't change, instead of those we can.
