From yesterday's day of cleaning veggies to this a.m.'s drop off, 21.5lbs of food has been delivered care of B's Junior Gardeners!
These foods were planted by my students this spring!
It's an amazing feeling knowing that this will help all those standing in line, but my heart aches for the lack of fresh food available.
Friends, please donate your extra produce to a local food pantry, they are in desperate need.

Death to the invasive burning bush that was growing in one of the school's #pollinator gardens! Huzzah!
Now what to put back? Already planning on more penstemon, but thinking about planting spicebush & serviceberry, as they're both early bloomers; this #garden really needs some non-bulb early blooms.
Could use some leads for reliable & reputable vendors. Looking for non-hybrid natives for this space. Thanks for any help!
