#ScillyIsles are beautiful, as are the #ChannelIslands.

My personal favourite is #Alderney: 3 miles long, 1.5 miles wide, beaches, forts, history (some of it, it has to be said, quite saddening).

Off there in September. Can't wait.

Beautiful clear pre-dawn walk. From #PendeenCarn could see lighthouse lights on #ScillyIsles 40km off, and Trevose Head 40km 180° around the other way. Can that really be 2500km2 of sea I am looking at? (40*40*3.14/2)
