Overheard an English history buff mentioning how "thou" used tae be the singular "you," while "you" was the plural, & that it was funny we had adopted "you" to address both 1 person or many people... Found myself thinking, you might... Here in Glasgow, at least, we still have the plural & singular options used prevalently. We still use "you" for the singular, but also have the option of pluralising it to "youse" 😉

My Scots Language bookshop website is working

I don't actually sell anything, its just links to Amazon, Waterstones or Abebooks, but the interface is sortable and you can filter by things like regional dialect or category.

But as I've been moaning about recently, this offering is better than the support for Scots language on Amazon and Waterstones, they don't know what they're selling, but I do.

Frustrated that Amazon and Waterstones don't deal with Scots language books in a favourable manner, I have assembled my own pseudo bookshop website.

Clicking on the book images takes you to Amazon via affiliate links, and also there are other links to either Waterstones, Abebooks or the publishers own website.
