An evening at Scottish Parliament hearing about the financial cost to families of imprisonment and release. Hosted by Rona Mackay MSP, with Cabinet Secretary Angela Constance and several MSPs in attendance.

It was very moving and galvanising hearing lived experiences of family members affected by a loved one's imprisonment. Much work yet to be done.

Really interesting and enjoyable discussions at the Scottish Parliament this evening at the book launch of 'The Norwegian Prison System' (Routledge Books).

After a series of contributions from Norwegian speakers, they had a live music performance and cross-floor discussions. A great turnout from senior Scottish Justice folk - so good to see people in person.
