Perhaps it goes downhill from here, but with the creators of #Scrubs and #TedLasso behind it, #Shrinking has great potential as a comedy with real heart. But then the same reviewer disliked #TedLasso too. I rest my case! #AppleTVPlus

Watched the first two episodes of #Shrinking, which I found considerably funnier and more enjoyable than the review below suggests. Rather than the humour coming from ’straight talk’, it is rooted in the unfolding relationships between the characters. Harrison Ford is superb, playing the straight man and father figure to Jason Segel’s spiralling no-hoper ’son’ (though the two characters relationship is purely professional). Perhaps it goes downhill from here, but with the creators of #Scrubs and #TedLasso behind it, Shrinking has potential as another great comedy with heart.
