As I said above, not the best but here is a sample of 2 teleconverters (Helios 2x + Fuji 1.4x) on the Jupiter-21m, pushing it to 560mm around f/11.

Dolphins in the bay, and 2 snaps of the eagle (at far too slow a shutter speed - oops).

There was really only a few seconds of video worth sharing (and tbh it is ordinary at best). 400mm handheld, even with in-body image stabilisation (and post processing stabilisation in Shotcut), doesn't produce ideal results.

I have clearer footage but the eagles are far away and tiny, not really anything to see.

A Momma Osprey and her 3 fledgling offspring were in the middle of having a snack when I spotted them high in a Norfolk Island Pine tree. Left to right in this family portrait … daughter, son, Momma, daughter. Always love to see and photograph the Osprey’s.

Sea eagle over the mangrove flat, dusk

The mudflat is so level, but slightly rippled, that when it’s exposed but still shiny-wet it can look exactly like water. In this shot the real water and mudflat are a bit easier to distinguish, but closer to the actual water’s edge it’s just a continuum.

The Eagle Landed

I caught this landing from maybe 200metres away - I might animate the full sequence later. These are 2000pixel wide crops from the original 6k image.

I have been trying to get a good photograph of a sea eagle since I moved here over a year ago. I still don't have a decent shot - the one time it flew close by, I had shutter speed at 1/200th instead of 1/1000th and it shows badly. Here is the best one so far.
