Did you know that when the word ‘serpent’ is mentioned in the bible it doesn’t always have a negative meaning?
While the serpent is first mentioned as the creature who deceived Eve into eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Gen 3:13), and often referred to as the devil (Rev 12:9), the word for serpent is not always speaking about the devil.
