After a few hike-a-bike sections #SeaToSky trail suddenly ends and leaves us on gravel and paved roads that lead to #Squamish.
Even with all the stops we arrived an hour before the bus departure (Squamish Connector), that took us safely back home. We agreed that biking 60km on the hwy with disappearing shoulders is not fun.

That's where my friend broke his #derailleur hanger: it snapped when he carried his bike across barriers https://mas.to/@Anibyl/110412407608382068
With help of a passerby he managed to convert his 1x11 #drivetrain to a #SingleSpeed one.
Hangers fatigue and break, especially when riding off-road; it's better to be ready for that: carry spare hanger, chain breaker, pliers, chain link. We had only a chain breaker π
I've also heard that gearhubs are pretty reliable π

The next section of the #SeaToSky trail had plenty of gnarly downhills and spectacular views of the #Cheakamus River valley.

But it wouldn't be #BC if a trail didn't suddenly end, forcing us to a highway π«

On our way stopped by an old train wreck, now turned into a small attraction.

He didn't feel too well after the first hot day so decided to cut it short. We kept on going, following the #SeaToSky trail.
