A new version of Theseus2000 Seaview is out. This version, V 5.1, includes validation checking for IP addresses in the subnet calculator, adds a link to the Theseus2000 website in Mastodon posts, and adds update progress sounds inspired by @daygar's KeyOp program.
Note: the portable updater seems to have a nasty sharing violation problem. If you use the portable version of T2000 and you get this error, let me know and I'll give you instructions on how to resolve it. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this might cause.

Theseus2000 V 5 Seaview is out! This new version allows T2000 to run fully portably, includes support for hostnames in IP Geo, changes the startup sound, adds a subnet calculator, and reduces the program's file size. Thanks to @BrailleScreen for inspiring me to add The subnet calculator, @TheQuinbox for providing the subnet calculator code snippet, and @Brynify (@Bryn) for helping out with the portable updater.

Thanks to a little help from @Brynify, the next version of Theseus2000 is now officially portable! This means you'll be able to carry the program around with you on a USB flash drive or SD card, and use its many powerful features wherever you are, with no need to install anything! Writing portable software is a huge step for me as a developer; I've always been so used to getting people to run installers in order to use my software, and full portability is something I've struggled with for quite a long time. With this in mind, I've decided to skip an entire version number, bumping Theseus2000 Seaview's version number up from V 4 to V 5. Also, a new subnet calculator tool, inspired by @BrailleScreen and based on a code snipit given by @TheQuinbox, is on its way to the program. #T2000 #Seaview
If my little plan works, the next version of Theseus2000, V 4, will be able to run fully portable! Technically the program has always been portable, but this wasn't officially supported by the auto updater. V 4 is also the first codenamed version of the program; the codename for this version is Seaview. #T2000 #Seaview
