Looking for a little place to set up a #blog - I need tweakable but not endless. Lightweight (I know Wordpress isn't for me)

Open to a #SelfHosted #StaticSite, but it really is about writing some things, not running a website. Ideally, it'd be free but I'll settle for inexpensive if I need to. Hopefully #blogger types have some advice to share?

Some things I've heard of: #ghost #WriteFreely, #medium. Do you have any experience to share about them?

I'm interested in #accessibility, #games, tabletop (#ttrpg), sharing my #ActuallyAutistic and #ActuallyADHD experiences in somewhat longer form - probably more (I know variety doesn't "sell", but I'm a varied type of person 🫠)

Starting a couple of experiments with my #selfhosted #singleuser #mastodon instance...

Firstly @TrendingBot aggregates trending links across known peer instances and posts new trending links... a new #trending link is "a top ten link that hasn't been seen before"... It runs hourly

Secondly, I'm looking for the top 10 most popular #hashtags across known instances and streaming these into the #federated timeline
