Went to funeral in Carrick On Suir today of ex Garda Noel Kerrisk. Noel & I sat alongside each other in the #Sem - we prompted each other in a bid to avoid getting ‘rutted’ (slapped) by tough teachers. Noel was always a gentleman & great fun! RIP, a chara

Few #SEM images I found in my archive 🔬​

I trained how to use electron #microscope on dead insects found in my University's Microbiology Laboratory. Samples were prepared by creating thin layer of gold dust on their surface, to gain electric conductivity.

One day, when I looked for some backups on my external drives, I found a set of #SEM #images I took several years ago, when I studied and was doing some volunteer work in my university lab. It wasn't my goal to find them that day so I went through the rest of files. Of course this way I "lost" them again and currently don't remember where I saw them :blobCat_anxious_sweat:​

Maybe I should find them again.
