Since the chances I would actually appear as a witness before the #TRCM is probably extremely slim, I thought I'd publish an article discussing a way to improve #BillC18. If I actually did appear, this would be one way I would have suggested improving the bill. I think it would resonate with @Paulatics because it deals with ensuring that the funding actually goes to supporting journalism rather than padding executive bonuses.

It's taking a little longer than expected to get the first #SenCa #BillC18 hearing fully analyzed. Almost finished it (about 15 minutes left of it now), but there's already a lot of stuff going into it. Had a number of disruptions in my personal life in the last day or so (nice timing, I know). Hoping to get the first segment completed late tonight.

Probably a slightly later start to examining these video's, but I'm taking on the #BillC18 Senate hearings. I have no idea what it is I am in for. I don't know if it'll be longer or shorter than the #BillC11 hearings (which was an exhausting 19 hearings which were two hours each). Just limbered myself up for this writing marathon and got Senvu cued up and ready to play. Here I go!

@Paulatics I do have a new found appreciation for the Senate. Even if it feels that the outcome seems all but certain, I did get the impression that Senators were, in fact, willing to listen to all sides of the debate - a sense I didn't see at the House of Commons level.

For a number of Senators, I did get a new sense of appreciation. Before this process, I never heard of, for instance, Pamela Wallin and I certainly have respect for her now with what I watched. #SenCa #BillC11 #TRCM

Realized that I wasn't going to be able to get about half of the CRTC hearing completed tonight, so I published the look ahead article.

Got close to the first half of the analysis, but I'm going to need a little more time. This one definitely packs a lot of details in and very little can be skimmed over as it almost all relates to topics I think are of interest. Sitting at 5,600+ words and that will only grow. Tomorrow's another day, though!
