There was a place
where sadness and laughter danced.
In the wrinkles of time
where illusions breath as one.
Give me your tears,
and whispers of a dream
the secrets will be mine to keep.

Far from mind
but close to the heart,
the need is wovening
lullaby of lust.
Scarlet lips and velvet sky
crimson sheets and bed of lies.

Touch of leather,
a kiss of steal,
candle wax and ice
silk ribbons and wine.

We'll stoke but won't tell
lick, and be on our way.
The night will bring the lullaby,
the need will make us
drown in wine.

We'll meet in a place
where despair and need dance
following the rhythm of lust
leaving all decency behind.

Crimson sky and purple lips
white sheets and dark deeds.
Pain and pleasure in right measure
a whisper of a dream
that never should have been.
