Overconsumed by our existence,
everyday survival and struggles
we forget to be thankful for the life we have been given, and all the small, and big, things that make it worth living.

Life wasn't meant to be easy. Life is too often unfair and painful.
I found it best not to ask Why? But to count my blessings and be grateful for what I have.

We tend to look for someone or something to blame when things are bad. It's hard to accept that sometimes there is no big meaning or purpose to things happening.
In the end, it's hard to satisfy the mind when needs of the heart are so different.

There are times when you feel
the shift in the world around you,
when you feel that jump
out of the loop you
have been trapped in.

There are moments
when everything feels right,
when things are so clear
that you don't want to go to sleep
because you know that there is
a very big chance you will loose
that clarity with the first light of day.

There are moments when you feel
you have found your way,
that your heart, spirit and mind
are in the same place.
Don't worry, it's only illusion
because tomorrow everything will be
one big confusion.

There are moments but they pass,
and the what?

Life is about the moments,
and what they give us,
so take in what you are given
and dream,
for in the end,
dreams are all
we are left
with.

People feel eachother in a way
that words cannot describe.
To some people you simply
feel close without knowing why.
It's the recognition of ourselves
in others
that we subconsciously look for,
it's the feeling of connection
through shared emotion.
In this virtual world I have met
such beautiful souls
that I got to love
without even meeting their eyes.
On social media that's full of
deceptions and lies
pure souls and honest hearts
still can be found.

Tonight I want to write, cry, and enjoy the silence after everyone one goes to sleep.
Self-preservation comes in many forms. Clarity of the mind and peace of the heart don't come by them selves.

What we think we need, and what we actually need are two different things. Often, we don't have time to think / feel things through, therefore solitude is the best gift we can give ourselves -

"Silence to make the whispers of the heart louder,
Tears to wash away worries and pain,
Time to be alone and to remember to love ourselves
regardless of all the imperfections and flaws."

The reality is -
there is no reality.

Reality is a big bubble
made of all this different
little bubbles
that occasionally touch eachother.

Reality is an illusion made of
millions illusions
that come together at some point
creating a feeling of connection,
the sensation of the same reality.

Realism, empiricism, idealism,
rationalism, egoism, materialism ...
so many -isms we created
but non that would truly capture
the complexity of human perception
of reality.

We tend to simplify things,
box and label everything.
Is it out of fear
of not being on top,
and understanding
how everything works,
or is it pure vanity so one
can have its name next
to the label?

Acceptance of not knowing
is the hardest thing
for it creates fear.
To fill the void,
and take away the fear
we came up with so many things,
so many truths and realities
that number of stars in the sky
looks like a very small thing.

Will we ever really know,
or are we bound to choose
between the truths,
given as such,
so we don't lose
our mind?

There are times when blessings are so clearly felt, and message reaches you in the most amazing way, where and when you least expect it.

It's time to clear my desk from the mess made of things I don't need it want, and from pressures I put upon myself while being pulled into circles I don't want to be in.

Life is made of choices.
Habits are not always a good thing.
What is good for you is not necessarily right for me.
Letting go is hard because of the feeling of comfort certain things/ people provide.

There is no wrong or right choice in one's life. There are just different paths leading to the same place we need to reach in the end.
