@xnomas I agree with you. It is a skill that someone can learn if they put in the work. IMHO there's no one correct answer here because it's all about the person and how comfortable they are. Some thrive doing it in a group setting. Some do better 1 on 1. I personally deal with #anxiety issues, especially in large crowds. I also have to be mindful of my triggers because of my #ptsd, so I do much better in an intimate setting. That's why I love the smaller #Defcon villages and #ShellCon. I say do what's most natural and comfortable, and don't expect anything in return when you meet people. I believe if done right, it will organically nurture the relationships. If people don't reciprocate, that's ok! You move on, and now you know who not to be friends with :)
