34 followers · 164 posts · Server mograph.socialJust saw the first #Shrek movie again. I can't believe how well some parts are holding up (mostly humour) and how back then we didn't care about CG issues that are staring me in the face today (low-res textures, lack of HDR lighting).
But most of all I was impressed by the tiny animation details that #Dreamworks has added. Donkey moving tiny pebbles with his feet... stuff like that. That stuff didn't animate itself back then, and you can't even take it for granted today.
