In practice, we find #KG useful to loosely couple databases across different “subcontexts”, bridging (not breaking) #organizational #silos. Yet, the shared context remains narrow and brittle.

#Transformers we find most useful to catch the longtail of at least a subcontext in a practically robust way.

And yes, #inductivebias here is informed by #KG, top-down, yet as always #datamodel of input is the determinant of predictive viability.

@taylorlorenz As others stated, the assumption about #silos is not true, because users constantly break the silos by following each other and boosting interesting toots. Yes, #Mastodon has no algorithm, but the users are the algorithm!

So here's an interesting question: Why do you trust an unknown algorithm (probably also programmed by able-bodied whites) more than the users you can see and talk to, with spreading your posts across the social network?

Because the #Fediverse as a whole is a completely other System compared to all other closed like #Silos working like #Twitter. 😉

@RayFintano na hoffentlich baust du dein Netzwerk von #SocialMedia mit Hilfe des #Fediverse auf und verzichtest weitestgehend auf Plattformen welche nur #Silos generieren oder nutzt diese nur strikt eingeschränkt und leitest alles von dort zurück ins Fediverse. 😉😁

Bezüglich deiner Bilder könntest du bestimmt auch mehr #Geld dafür verlangen oder eben nur für ausgewählte Stücke. 😃

Mir ist durchaus bewusst das jene #Politik etwas anderes unter Interoperabilität versteht als wie ich oder du sowie viele andere die aktiv im #Fediverse sind. 😉👍

Für mich ist #Interoperabilität die Möglichkeit verschiedene Plattformen miteinander sicher(da ist noch einiges zutun bezüglich #E2EE) zu verbinden damit alle miteinander #kommunizieren können und keine neuen #Silos entstehen. 😃

Ich beschäftige mich bewusst nicht mehr mit großen #Foren seit ich #blogge und meine #MastodonInstanz habe sowie regelmäßig aktiv nutze.

Mittlerweile sehe ich Foren als Vorversion der heutigen #Silos in Form von Plattformen wie Twitter & Facebook & TikTok und Konsorten. 🙄

Definitiv nicht fördern will ich diese Silos durch investieren meiner Lebenszeit darin. 😉

Ich empfinde die Idee des #Fediverse im Kern auch als super Sache sowie Alternative zu den bekannten #Silos alias #SocialNetworks. 😉

Allerdings besteht im Bezug auf #UI / #UX und eben Generell im Vergleich mit den #zentralisierten Diensten noch seeeehr viel an Arbeit, besonders in Richtung von #Aufarbeitung / #Aufklärung. 🙄
