Last night I had the most #GrownUp #Nightmare I've ever had. I dreamt that I had to wake up really early, stayed up too late watching something on TV, and only got like an hour of #Sleep. I woke up from the #Dream with my heart racing and couldn’t go back to sleep. #Dreams are weird. Bad dreams hit different when you get #Old.

I feel like there should be a #German word for when you are laying in bed at some late hour about to drift off to #sleep and have the sudden urge to work on that electrical wiring #project in the basement. 🫠⚡️

It appears that an #Australian #mammal called a northern quoll (Dasyurus hallucatus) has a strange pattern of #male survival. Most spend so much time trying to #mate that the forgo #sleep (and appear to fall victim to predation or exhaustion) and do not survive their first mating season.
