This is incredibly obvious, but only today during guitar class did it occur to me that when I move chords in a major scale up and down the fretboard, each string is in its own mode. #slowlearner

@_dev_prg I vividly remember that feeling! now I'm 20+ years into the dev career and I'm still worried that I'm working too slow.

At some point I made peace with my abilities as a #slowlearner and started to take advantage of it. One of which is to keep building a bigger picture and consistently verify it. Going slower allows me to look into details thoroughly.

For sure it takes practice. Don't underestimate yourself!

Often with everything I learn... I stumble on this pattern :

Take webhook technology and its possibilities... It took me years to figure out how I could use #webhook for my use cases and even when I could understand how it worked, it took me couple of years to actually use it and then Eureka, redesign some automation workflows to use webhook instead of pulling RSS feeds.. I could have benefited from webhook way sooner, but I didn't!
