Now that I am starting to get the hang of home assistant I am really loving it. It is so wild to have a tool that essentially if you can think of it home assistant can do it. just blown away.

I now have a month to decide which #SmartHome platform I will be moving to and then plan out all the changes. I'm currently on #SmartThings with a little over 200 devices and loads of customization/monitoring scripts. I tried #Hubitat and didn't care much for it, I may have to give it a try again. I hate it when companies buy a perfectly good product and then systematically destroy it. #SamsungSucks

My biggest issues with my #SmartHome are: #batteries & #delays. Closely followed by devices that just fall “offline”.

Weekend Project
Wrote an integration for Home Assistant that scrapes data from a medication reminder app so I can display it in my smart home dashboard.
