Today we'll be doing a live stream to youtube and we'll be recapping 2022's dev work and answering questions.

I just finished downloading the first published build of #SmugglersOfCygnus from Itch just so we can look at where it came from, where it is, and look at the Godot port to see where it's going.

We'll also be doing a sneak peek at #LegendsOfLuisaLlama

Took a while, but these modules were one of the most complex shader/material models to port from blender/UE4 to Godot.

Turned out the easiest way to do it was right in front of me - learning to use the glTF pipeline better.

I was trying to figure out how to create a proper skybox in @godotengine, and I must say I am *thrilled* how it turned out.

@Blender -> import skybox mesh -> create material -> import HDR texture -> UV view -> export EXR -> apply to new sky environment.

NICE.
My goal is to have the station model and space backdrop migrated from UE4 by Monday, and this was a really key step.
