Snow that sticks around more than a few hours is rare here on the #OregonCoast, but based on the forecast, I may be stuck on my hilltop for several days at least, maybe till next week. Day 4 of being snowed in. Rations are running low. We had to break open the *good wine* and delve into our Christmas snacks to sustain us. Thankfully, despite single digit temps and 20” snow, our power remains operational.

Some talk of strapping on snow shoes and heading through the forest to the deli-mart came up, but that idea was quickly ruled out - unless an extreme emergency (like running out of wine or ice cream) emerged. It’s cold!
