And guess what did councils cut spending on: investment in the future.

It seems a very #british thing, I've been advised to approach doctors about my living situation and my mental health, rather than going #housing and #SocialCare first. I go to doctors with a parent, btw. They get particularly anxious around my appnts. I don't want to bad talk the people I love just because we struggle together, and *particularly* not to light fire under arses for people to do their jobs. Its something that feels nasty to do and I won't be party to #UKSocialCare 's nastiness

How quickly we forget. All those that work in social care deserve or respect and thanks. They are looking after our loved ones, the fact so many are leaving because they can earn more cleaning probably sums up where we are as a country.

The lie Boris Johnson told outside number 10 when he got elected is coming back to haunt the Torys now. He told everyone that they had a plan up and running to sort out social care.
They are now saying that the lack of plan for social care is having an impact on the NHS.
