Das #Bundesverkehrsministerium @BMDV hat falsche Zahlen zum #Auto|besitz bei jungen Erwachsenen veröffentlicht bzw. sagen Text und Grafik sehr Unterschiedliches.

Da das #SocialMedia-Team des Ministerium im #Fediverse aber nicht mitliest, bin ich sehr gespannt, ob es irgendwann eine Korrektur gibt.

Eine genaue #Quellenangabe (Link zur frei zugänglichen Tabelle mit den Zahlen) hätte ich gerne auch.

Zur Sache:

Das #Verkehrsministerium bejubelt in seinem Tröt, dass #PKW-Besitz bei jungen Erwachsenen in #Deutschland seit 2016 ansteigt. Die Grafik sagt: Von 1000 Menschen der Altersgruppe 18-24 hatten 2016 164,1 Menschen einen PKW, also 16,41%. 2022 sollen es 188,3 gewesen sein, also 18,83%.

Im Text jubelt das #Ministerium zu den Zahlen junger Autohalter*innen: "2022 ganze 188.000, ein absoluter Rekord".

Ich glaube die #Ekstase im Ministerium kennt keine Grenzen mehr, wenn sie bemerken, dass es mehr als 1 Millionen junge Erwachsene mit Auto sind, weil "pro 1000" ist halt keine absolute Zahl, sondern muss mit der Gesamtzahl der Menschen der Altersgruppe (ca. 6.000.000 ???) ins Verhältnis gesetzt werden, um eine absolute Zahl zu bekommen.

Nach meinen derzeitigen Berechnungen macht das Ministerium trotzdem Politik für die ca. 20 Prozent jungen Autobesitzer*innen und nicht für die 80 Prozent, die anders Mobil oder wegen #Armut von #Mobilität nahezu ausgeschlossen sind.

Oder lieg ich falsch?
