I am looking to hire a social worker or equivalent in Ontario for 5-10hrs/mo. Eastern ON area, but can likely do remote.

Need someone hip with the complex bureaucracy of supports. But more importantly someone innovative, wanting to explore and foster change and create new things - because existing supports are shite.

2) If you are a #school administrator and are using Care Solace, please don’t. HIre a school #SocialWorker or three, who can take the time to learn a little about the kids and their needs as well as the therapists in your community. This bizarre service is not going to do anything for kids. It is a minimal effort. Mental health is about treating patients not about customer service & telemarketing. (3/4)

A little more about me. My work focuses on raising awareness of the harms of family separations and #fostercare and ultimately working to abolish the #childwelfare system and all aspects of #policing and #prisons. My view is that our #socialwork values call for us to remove ourselves from these systems and work for their #abolition. If you’re a #socialworker or an #abolitionist, I hope to get to know you.
