My Nude board was basically stuff I wanted to rip off for my own #NudePhotography - it was so great as a source of inspiration and also to go through with a model, to see where they felt most in control and safe.

Hi all - here’s my #introduction!

I’m a #sociologist and #demographer interested in the relationships between environmental change, sustainable development, and health and well-being.

I study how #climate change affects food security, child nutrition, and infant health, and I examine the social processes underlying dam-induced displacement. Much of this work focuses on low- and middle-income countries (Brazil and Ethiopia in particular).

@GreenFire I fear that the political influence of twitter will not vanish in the near future. As #sociologist I can imagine that #mastodon will be more appropriate for me to connect with my #sociology community - to spread and discuss research and so on. I further hope to get more connected with people intrested in #ClimateJustice #greentransformation and #sustainability. But I can’t see that this kind of networking will be able to curtail the poisoned political debates of our time. I want to be wrong about that: I fear I am not. What conclusions are to draw? Shift to Mastodon, but don’t leave discussions on twitter alone? Crossposting from mastodon to twitter is not only possible, it is important? Well … just a thought.
