@plants @nature for last week- a warm week, well above average (avg is a few degrees below freezing) as high as low/mid teens C! Things changed on the weekend w/ a bit of and dropping temperatures- this week has days mid *minus* teens to near -20, nights as low as -30C. Toasty in the house w/ the wood stove going- but that means I need to get out in the bush and cut more! (I harvest deadwood)

@nature a , a chickadee come to see what I'm doing standing in front of a tree( taking photos) and the frost , weather have combined their efforts to lure me with a ring of promise on a branch- I saw the jewel, but left it, as one must!

The increase in activity and interaction here has been exciting- but I may not be able to keep up all the time! Looking forward to checking out more and more folks as time allows- to see what you're talking about, feeling, creating!
Meanwhile, trying to share some of the crazy beauty I see every day!
Now, to finish posting and get outside to enjoy the warm day + get more wood cut before my work week starts and it gets cold next week!

1-Bit of a depressing time- so much crap out there in so many ways! I'd like to just not think about it all sometimes-- and without pretending issues don't exist, I think it's good to have -- to give time for , for messages, for the . *But* also important to remember that some folks are denied those reprieves--

A few views from the last couple of days, out on the farm, mostly across the neighbours' (that's the direction I can see the and -looking West on the acreage or farm is all )..
the view of the two tree tops could almost be autumn, with golden curled up leaves hanging on to the poplar.. the imposing cloud bank in #3 passed on by..

@snaptophobic I didn't find much plant/nature stuff right away, but after following a few people + seeing what they post and who they boost etc it has started to come together. I don't call myself a landscape photographer (and landscape is only one of my obsessions) but I do try to share some of the natural beauty I am in awe of every day

@plants @nature This is my for last week- in spite of a few light snows and many frosts, still lovely late views with , coloured leaves etc-- very different world out there today-- white and cold-- but that can come later..lol
