Cat made in SolveSpace. Not my original design - original drawings by IceChes, I just redrew and tweaked it slightly.

On a slightly different note, it turns out one of the easiest and universal (working on various compositors) ways to record a video of a window on modern (wayland) linux, is through #obsstudio , and I really wouldn't mind if it was a bit simpler…

Decided to deliberately design a car that steers wrong - the outer wheels steer more than inner ones. Give it a try and try to fix it :blobCatHappy:
And the TPU wheels give it extra springiness :blobCat_bounce:

And published dxf/step/slvs files for it

5 minutes in #SolveSpace #CAD at 1AM + 1h of #3dprining on a generic ender 3, and a friend won't have to worry about mud and water spraying on his back
the completely normal feline urge to design your own cat tail.
Some more improvements. The parts are now printable with no supports/brim; ~47 minutes for one, 1h14m for two, or 6h45m for 12. Funny how layer changes just add up like that in time to make such a difference. :ablobcatwobble:

So another #minipainting related project.
As winter sets in I'd prefer to be in by the fire with the family while I paint.
To help I modelled a portable hobby workstation in #solvespace (my preferred CAD when designing for #LaserCutting projects - great solver, lightweight and simple assembly workflow). This lets me come in with the key materials I need for that evening.
It's designed to hold paint and pigment bottles from all major brands up to and including 35mm diameter bottles. Integrated cutting mat and tool storage in a compact but practical size.
Sprayed it white and added a version of my previously posted #3dprint brush rack.
As ever I'll be posting the files in the coming days.

Since I have a working bicycle again, (something something supply chain something something broken unobtainium - 122T belt), I decyded to design and print myself a holder for my phone, to have things like basic navigation easily accessible.
Designed the part that should clip on a part of the handlebar assembly and gonna test if it fits :)
Designing this in Solvespace, as that's the one CAD program that doesn't hurt my brain, and printing the part that clips on the bicycle in TPU
