Last entry for tonight, I promise - but I cannot leave the #Eurovision #Songcontest stage without mentioning the greatest of all #ESC nations: #Sweden 🇸🇪. They destroyed their competitors in 2015:
Måns Zelmerlöw - "Heroes"
It took me a full year to finally listen to that song, because I was angry about some maybe slightly homophobic statement Måns did in the past. He apologised the next year as host with a lot of naked skin for the #LGBT fans. Great man. 😁

More recently, in 2021, the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 gave a shot with a very powerful, energetic song, setting the stage of the #Eurovision #Songcontest on fire:
James Newman - "Embers"
Brits tends to hate their own contributions, but I love this song. I've listened to it on a train ride to Munich. 6 hours long, perma-repeat. It never fails to make my day better!

My own country, Germany 🇩🇪, does not have a very good hand in sending recognisable or lovable singers. Lucky us that we have money and buy our place in the finals!
The #Eurovision #Songcontest entry from 2006, however, stuck to my head, and I still know the full text by heart. Country vibes from Schnitzel-Land!
Texas Lightning - "No, No, Never"
PS: I love singing harmonies to this one.

Following my toots about the #Eurovision #Songcontest, one could believe that I only favour young, hot men. But there were more outstanding contributions. #Ireland 🇮🇪, for example, sent a very strong voice to the stage in 2010:
Niamh Kavanagh - "It's For You"
Again, she is one of my first go-to voices when I am craving good old Eurovision vibes. Beautiful woman, beautiful voice!

In 2016, Lithuania 🇱🇹 came up with another young guy adding a lot of power to the stage of the #Eurovision #Songcontest:
Donny Montell - "I've Been Waiting For This Night"
Not only was the song a very powerful pop ballade. But also, they played a lot with the dynamic between a stage full of light and an energetic young singer. And let's not forget about his salto. I think, this is the only entry from 2016 I remember...

In 2005, Serbia & Montenegro [sic!] sent a very folkloric entry to the #Eurovision #Songcontest. Back then I was much smaller (surprise!) but that was my favourite entry of the night. Not only because the song is great. I also loved the guys. That was before my personal outing to myself, though...
No Name - "Zauvijek Moja"
Also, I ALWAYS prefer songs in the country's main language.

Sometimes, I love entries at the #Eurovision #Songcontest simply because they are #eyecandy. #Switzerland 🇨🇭, for example, sent a guy to the stage in 2019 who is simply... well, just watch yourself.
Luca Hänni - "She Got Me"
I gotta admit, the song itself is rather subpar. But in my personal #rainbowtable (yes, that's a thing) he got crazy good points. I wonder why.

My favourite song of all times for the #Eurovision #Songcontest is from #Belgium 🇧🇪 (2015):
Loïc Nottet - "Ryhthm Inside"
That man is absolutely stunning. Even back than he did a flawless cover of Sia's "Chandelier". Crazy good voice, crazy musical talent. Whenever I am asked about good music at the Eurovision Songcontest, this is the first entry I'm dropping.

The #Eurovision entry from #Ireland 2018 is still one of those that don't fail bringing #tears to my eyes. Not only that they had a (presumably) #gay dance couple on stage. The love story in the music video is so... damn. Like, the vibe, the atmosphere, that's like 200% what I want in my life.
Ryan O'Shaugnessy - "Together"
