My current setup is a Bluetooth keyboard connected directly to my laptop, and #SonoBus running in Reaper and as a standalone iOS app. Still better than NVDA Remote, even with the AirPods lag. Plus you get stereo sound.
Hello Iām an artist and musician in Maryland. Currently dabbling with digital paintings. Teaching Artist with #artsforlearningmd. Any #musicians on the #fediverse have a minute to try out #sonobus with me?

I'm learning how to do MIDI mapping for #VST control in #reaper so I can use it to host #SonoBus and be able to map all the controllers to get a useable mix. (I fear this may evolve into me writing a helper script in SuperCollider for using the track arrows to control groups bigger than 8, but anyway).
Reaper has really informative (even if unbearably annoying) videos for help and I'm finally going to pay for it, but I'm also wondering what are my FOSS options for VST hosting that have the ability to learn MIDI? This is the first time I've actually wanted to use a VST, so I'm missing a few basic skills here, alas.
