Trying to buy tickets for a single one-off event at the #RFH. Can I just buy the tickets? Can I balls. First I have to create an "account" with the #Southbank Centre. I hate this fucking kind of marketing entrapment. I just want the sodding tickets, not to establish an ongoing relationship. And to add insult to injury, not only are there transaction fees (albeit tiny in comparison to the face value), they quietly add a (removable) "donation".

Like most such concerts it lacked some of the spark of musicians when the music is fresh, & I had the impression they had to work hard to play these quite sophisticated songs, but the result was pretty close
One of the few records I have on both #vinyl and #cd

Had a great evening last night at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, South Bank, London. A wonderful venue for live music. Jane Weaver presents Sunset Dreams, a mini festival of sorts with 3 terrific live artists and a great DJ set. Before fees the ticket was only £20. Best value all year, the only gig I went to all year that was inflation busting. I only had my phone camera unfortunately
