In 2006 I wrote my own take on Pierre Boulle's Planet of The Apes, set on an alien planet with (spoilers!) uplifted Earth apes on it. The planet also needed native organisms, largest of which on land was this radially symmetrical Galapagos tortoise sized herbivore. #Spectember
