π§ #Mood | Thought I'd post #SplitEnz' "I Got You" (1980) as part of my "British 80s" shtick today, but learned they're Kiwis and cute AF! π
π The chorus is "choice!" as they say in NZ.
That's #TimFinn out front and his brother Neil on keyboards. When the band broke up in 1985, Neil co-founded #CrowdedHouse and Tim was a sometimes member.
The LP was recorded in Australia, and Aussie #DavidRussell directed the #film.

It sounds flat and muddy, some songs have weird fadeouts, 'new' elements in the mix often feel superfluous, vocals feel lost and overwhelmed... A remix for the sake of remixing an album that sounded pretty damn good in the first place. All the nope from me. #SplitEnz
