Another item on the wishlist, would be for more of the news coverage surrounding the 1973 World Cup to be made more readily available
There are various listings in TV news archives for reports on games/teams, etc, but the majority of them are not available digitally.

With 2023 set to be the most high profile summer of women's cricket in England so far, hopefully there'll be a good amount of retrospective coverage to mark some of the landmark moments leading up this point.
At the very least, it would be great if the BBC could dust off their coverage of the 1993 WC final, and upload some highlights, as it's difficult to find even brief snippets of the game online.

Another notable milestone will be the 25th anniversary of the MCC voting to admit women members for the first time.
The process was started by Rachael Heyhoe Flint's application for membership in 1991.

I'm giving a free talk on Monday 27th February about some of the women who challenged the rules & ran in men's races.

Watched the Harold Ballard documentary last night. It was quite good
Ballard didn't win any championships when he owned the Toronto Maple Leafs but his Hamilton Tiger Cats did. As owner from 1979-1989, his team made the Grey Cup five times, winning once in 1986.

Kathrine Switzer became the first woman to run the Boston Marathon in 1967. During her run, race manager Jock Semple assaulted her, trying to remove her from official competition. After a scuffle, however, she completed the race.
As a result of her run, the AAU banned women from competing in races against men, and it was not until 1972 that the Boston Marathon established an official women's race.
