So there it is, the death of big historic clubs, even they can't compete with the new financially doped clubs. The historic elite of football, with actual global fan bases, are being left behind by the new uber rich state owned clubs who's methods aren't questioned by any governance because EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ARE ON THE TAKE.

More clubs and their fans, Man Utd etc, are desperate for this too.

Words matter. Eddie Pells' article on #sportswashing was a pretty disgusting take, you get the impression he'd like everyone to just shut up and take the blood money already so they can play golf in fancy places.

@AP curious if you have any journalistic standards about the rich history of nazi sports?

And yet, he signed up anyway. His new bosses might not be nice but the money -- hundreds of millions of dollars in his case -- sure was.
