What have I been listening to lately on my #metal journey?
#ignea is a band from Ukraine, they have a unique middle eastern vibe to their songs which gives some very unique tones. The singing is great, and I love little things they add to the songs. For example in Alga their is a brief break when just the keyboard comes in with a very dissonant chord which catches you by surprise. Check them out at bandcamp.

I watch some youtube reactions and found the band Suite Clarity by their Nightwish reactions. They are based in Seattle and I would consider them to be #progressivemetal. I found their reactions to be very insightful, they are obviously very talented and understanding about complex music theory. They currently have released two full albums. I hope they can increase their following and popularity, so here is a shoutout to #suiteclarity on fedi!

Also through the Suite Clarity youtube channel and their song covers I discovered #Spritbox from Canada. I just started exploring their catalog but like what I hear so far. They have one album "Eternal Blue" but a bunch of earlier EPs and singles.
