I realise sharing the excitement of my day might sadden those of you who've not had as much fun, but maybe I'll inspire a career change?! Today me & The Dutch Man lifted all the rotten floorboards up above where we took down the collapsing lath & plaster ceiling. Dust, beetle rot, walnut shells (squirrels), paper nests (mice / rats), a half-eaten dead bird (the cat) and ... a sock?!
