Revisited the star trail data from a week or so ago, to make a fun little time lapse video. There are two distinct runs of the data in here with two different vibes. I think it came out pretty fun!

On 3rd April 2023 I went back to shoot more over the in . I used 2 cameras with different lenses. This is 20mins with a 300mm zoom lens, 70 x 15 sec at f/4. I love this one because the satellite dishes are more prominent

Another image of the ISS pass over Princeton, NJ on Sat Mar 18 @ 7:49 PM. This image was created from 2 photos looking east taken with a Nikon D7500 and 18mm lens. Each photo was 20 sec at f/11 and ISO 100. Processed in Lightroom and then a break in the ISS trail created by the gap between exposures were patched up in Photoshop.

I've figured out an easy way to tell the exact location of the North Star which is hidden behind the trees behind the house. This shot is a time-lapse photo that was pointed in the general direction of where it should be. It's a composite of 100 shots taken over about 2 hours. At the center of all the circles, which are stars, is the North Star. That's where I have to aim the Sky Tracker.

Here's my Guide to the North Star hiding in the trees behind my house:
