Als #StarTrek Fan bin ich ja die letzten Jahre gebeutelt worden.

#StarTrekDisocovery war ganz okay, aber auch nicht wirklich der burner.
#StarTrekPicard war mal was neues, weg von dem ewigen, jede Folge eine abgeschlossene Geschichte, dennoch ließ es viel zu wünschen übrig. Zu Staffel 2 schweige ich jetzt mal.
#StarTrekStrangeNewWolrds geht, wieder einmal einen neuen Weg mit alten Prinzipien. Ich hoffe es ist nicht auch ein totaler Reinfall.

Now moving onto Strange New Worlds. I'm e especially excited for this one, seeing the story of the Enterprise Crew before the original series with the fx and modern day production values is exciting. I kinda fell in love with Anson Mounts Pike in season 2 of Discovery, and I can't wait to see more of him, and what Ethan Peck is doing with Spock, my childhood favorite.

Spent my long weekend binge watching Discovery.

Love the context and expansion of the OG Star Trek universe. It has moments of breathtaking beauty from a filmmaking perspective. Sonegua Martin-Green as Burnham largely sells it. I love how it weaves strong messages into its storytelling about the power of possibility, self love, and caring for others including those who differ from us.

Y'know... Don't know why #StarTrekDisocovery gets so much hate. It is definitely not like other Trek shows and some scenes are very contrived, but it's not bad. I'm several episodes in and enjoying it.

Also, I love Anthony Rapp. He's so enjoyable to watch in this!

I know, I'm late to the show, but yesterday evening I finally managed to watch forth season's final episodes of #StarTrekDisocovery ... and I am still blown away how a #Scifi show can be so full of hope and inclusiveness plus extremely entertaining!

Amazing, awesome, brilliant!!
