Today’s #cycle trip was to #Exmouth which is about 18 km away by #bike mostly on #cyclepaths. It has been a bright sunny day but still a bit cool. This is a #photograph of the #ExeEstuary which opens out into the #EnglishChannel. It was #LowTide and so you can see #SandBanks in the middle of the #estuary which form a #habitat for #birds but also a #NavigationalHazard. You can see the opposite #bank too which is in #Starcross.

Got it! It's FR41016 - missing digit is 1. She (identifies as she/her until told otherwise) gave me the run around hiding in long grass dark distant corners and even going to sleep for a while AND I stood in dog poo again, got wet but ... maybe ringed 1990?? #Starcross #Devon

A nice chance for a trip along the #Exe #Canal and then the #Estuary to #Starcross and back. A couple of hours well spent.

Last Sunday, which was nice and sunny, I went on a longer jaunt by #bicycle down the #western side of the #ExeEstuary to #Starcross. It is of course very flat along the coastal #CyclePath and almost the entire journey is #OffRoad and features a rather nice, new #pedestrian/cycle bridge over the main railway line which continue to #Plymouth and then #Cornwall. My wife likes this route too. The total length is just over 30 km.
