On the one hand, I'm happy about some* rain coming. 🙏 #WaterShortage is a big concern with #ElNiño.

Many of us think of the start of the new year as a time to check batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Great idea! While you're at it, change your passwords too. It's a good habit to get into.

Just found out a friend got #covid19. She's fully vaccinated with #Sinovac, but says she caught it from her unvaccinated dad. Fortunately they both seem fine and are quarantining at home. Good thing they're not severe/critical cases. 🙏 Hospitals are quite full already. 😶

Pleased to see that it's estimated to be out of the country by the weekend. (Yes, please!! 🙏) But then someone else is coming to visit -- #typhoon Kiko (Chanthu). It's supposed to pass higher up north. Easier for most parts of the country, unlike Jolina that just rolled directly over the islands.
