Steam even remembered the specific PS4 controller I used before Steam Link on the Chromecast was bad. Lit up the same purple color on the front light thingies and everything. I'm impressed that it remembers controllers across different connections.

Does anyone know how #SteamInput works on #wine or #proton? I know it leverages #SDL2 to map buttons to other buttons (legacy) or actions (native).

But where does the functionality reside when running under wine? Does it run natively and is somehow marshalled through wine?
