Brilliance or blasphemy? In 2012 Toronto alternative rock duo #TheDarcys reinterpreted one of the greatest albums of all time, #SteelyDan's #Aja. They made a short film. Love it.

1968 verricht hij zijn eerste sessiewerk, op #GapMangione zijn album Diana in the Autumn Wind. In 1973 richt hij 2 bands op, jazzfusion band L'Image en maar gaf de voorkeur aan het werk in de studio.
Hij speelt vanaf dan vooral voor het jazzlabel #CTIrecords, oa voor #ChetBaker en #JimHall.
En drumt hij nummers in voor oa het album #aja van #SteelyDan en nummers en albums van #PaulSimon, #RickyLeeJones enz.
Na een tijd ging hij toch op tournee met de begeleidingsband van #PaulSimon

I was fortunate to see #SteelyDan on their hometown 10-night stand in 2016 at Manhattan's #BeaconTheater. #WalterBecker was in great form; no sign that he would shortly stop touring. They were doing a different complete album every night. I caught the 'Aja' night. Doesn't get much better.
