There are many more valid reasons to avoid #cloudflare than just the ones you have listed on this page.

First and foremost is the #centralisation of the internet and the normalisation (in peoples mindset) of tools to #tracking people's online activity.

There are ways to deal with DDoS that do not involve #disservices. Anyone who can setup an instance likely has some ability to find a way to negate DDoS.

CloudFlare is never an option. Just like negotiating with a criminal #protectionRacket is never an answer.
