It's been a while since I've written anything new outside of #Storium and my still pending manuscript. It was nice.

My short stories tend to be snapshots of potentially larger work, and this one is no exception. I am curious to discover more of this new world that emerged in this story.

#Storium is built with #accessibility in mind. One of our most active members is blind and (without checking with him beforehand) I'm sure he'll be happy to show you around. But yes, the site works well with a #ScreenReader!

The #Storium Arc website is gone. The #podcast went on hiatus after I (their only sound editor) left a year ago and for various other reasons, never returned. The site is hosted and paid for by someone who is no longer active on Storium or the podcast. I'm not sure if they will put the site back up again, but at least we can still access the episodes wherever you listen to podcasts.

Ah! Mastodon v4.0.2 lets you filter posts by languages, so I chose English, Bahasa Melayu and Toki Pona. Had such great fun learning #TokiPona through a #Storium game. Unfortunately we never finished and now mi sona ala.

My #podcasting and #SoundMixing days are on hold, but when I was on the #Storium Arc team from 2020-2021, I had so much fun experimenting with #Audacity! I'm on board a new #ImmersiveFiction #podcast project but it'd be months before I get anything to work with.

@orionkidder When I write collaboratively on #Storium, I don't spend a lot of time perfecting a character because I have so many. They start as ordinary as possible, and develop with the flow of the story, especially if someone else is narrating.

ie I created a throwaway character who was supposed to end up as dino food by the end of Act 1, but he ended up riding the story out and having character development. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've whittled down my #Storium games to just two active games because IRL TV production work is taking my creative energy elsewhere. But I'm trying to keep this little game going by setting up a scene for my players to work on this week.
