Hello from stormville. Been nasty around here this evening; I've heard some pretty serious hail hitting the place in the past hour or so. My phone has been blowing up like crazy since about 3 PM with warning alerts, but things didn't seriously pick up until about 5:30 Central. We ended up taking shelter in the hallway for a bit, but things settled down fairly quickly--for now anyway.

It’s not over yet. We’re getting slammed with more severe weather. Stay safe California.

Pretty much all the covers from the '90s, when they were first founded, I think just look awesome.

Check out with this cover.

Because Steven Wilson puts flat transfers of the basic tracks on the CD masters as well, we should be good in terms of the masters not being fucked up. And I care less and less about the SW remixes as remixes as well. His remix work with King Crimson is essential. With Tull, not so much. All right.

Starting with 'North Sea Oil'. A single, apparently, according to the book. How well does it hold up?

The band Jethro Tull was falling apart at the time and a reasonable case can be made that 'true' Jethro Tull ended when this lineup split. I'd personally put the end point much later, in 1995, but my criteria are different.
Dee Palmer had a larger than usual role because she and Ian Anderson were writing a ballet score at the same time./3
